Founded in 2004, Khanh Hoa Young Businessmen's Association is a voluntary social career organization, a member of Vietnam Youth Federation of Khanh Hoa Province. Thanks to the concern from Khanh Hoa Provincial Permanent Party Committee, provincial Permanent People’s Committee and the direction of Vietnam Youth Federation of Khanh Hoa Province as well as Vietnamese Young Businessmen's Association, Khanh Hoa Young Businessmen's Association has made great effort to overcome difficulties and improve its operation quality with 200 members, up from 58 on the establishment day.
Besides business, local entrepreneurs have held many charity activities worth billions of dongs such as giving gifts to policy beneficiaries, disadvantaged families and soldiers working on the Spratly Islands. Khanh Hoa Young Businessmen's Association has boosted the strength of entrepreneur community inside and outside the province. The prosperity of each entrepreneur has supported activities of the local Youth’s Union, Youth Federation, etc for the common sake.
Khanh Hoa Young Businessmen's Association has successfully held meetings between its members and provincial leaders. Over the past years, there have been 38 product shows and 19 business start-up programs providing vocational consulting for about 15,000 young people. Besides workshops, the association has also held the 2008 Gold Star Award Ceremony in the southern central region, introduced its members to join the Vietnam Gold Star, Typical Businessmen Award and so on.
The association has also cooperated with young entrepreneur communities in the provinces of Attapu and Champasak (Laos) to open a product show room in Pakse City (Champasak). In addition, the association and Khanh Hoa Salanganes Nest Company have organized trade promotion programs in South Korea, Cambodia and Singapore; workshops and courses on international economic integration and procedures for export to Europe; and meetings among young entrepreneurs to raise management capacity and morality in business.
The association has introduced its members’ products and services to each other for mutual sustainable development; held business financial counseling programs; provided opportunities to have access to preferential loans and customs taxes; and join the program on bringing Vietnamese products to rural areas, etc.
In recent years, businesses, especially small-sized ones, have coped with severe competitiveness, which may challenge their very survival. The association has organized many activities such as business startup counseling, preferential loan source introduction, marketing, etc, contributing to sales and market share increase.
Moreover, meetings and dialogues between businesses and relevant agencies and departments have been held. Businesses have been provided chances to join exhibitions and fairs to promote their products and search for strategic partners.
With the aim to boost business opportunities, Khanh Hoa Young Businessmen's Association will continue its support and assistance with workshops on trade promotion with other local and foreign organizations such as ASEAN Young Entrepreneurs Association; fairs to promote marketing in potentials markets, including Singapore, Myanmar, South Korea, Japan and Russia; raise competitiveness and participation in Vietnam Gold Star Award, Red Star Award, Award for Corporate Social Responsibility and the program on bringing locally made products to rural areas, etc, says Le Huu Hoang, CEO of Khanh Hoa Salanganes Nest Company, Chairman of Khanh Hoa Young Businessmen's Association.
