On October 23, Khanh Hoa Department of Health in cooperation with Vietnam Public Health Association and Khanh Hoa Public Health Association held a workshop on creating smoke –free environment in Khanh Hoa.
The passive smoking exposure in Khanh Hoa has been cut by 10%. Reportedly, Vietnam Public Health Association has provided support for Khanh Hoa to build smoke-free Nha Trang City since 2012 through many activities, including propaganda and training on tobacco control. The smoke-free model is scheduled to expand across the province from 2014 to 2016.
