Many health care trips have been organized to help poor residents in remote areas. The most recent trip was to Ninh Tay Commune, Ninh Hoa Town.

Y-Long, Buon Dung Village, Ninh Tay Commune, says, “I am poor and thus unable to pay hospital fee. I am really grateful to the volunteer work. I have been given medical examination and medicines free of charge.”

Besides giving gifts, the young physicians also joined a volunteer trip to Laos in July, giving medical check-ups for some 1,000 villagers. In addition, counseling about the treatment of some common diseases was provided to help them know how to take care of themselves better.

Moreover, the association has also focused on the movement “Learning and following Uncle Ho’s moral example”, scientific research, etc. Many volunteers have been honored for their great contribution to charity.

Many volunteer trips have been held at the cost of over VND1 billion after 10 months of operation, bringing relief to thousands of disadvantaged families, especially children.

Vo Hoan Hai, Secretary of Khanh Hoa Communist Youth Union says, “In the time to come, we will continue seeking for donation from individuals and social organizations to raise fund for the charity work.

Besides, young physicians are required to keep on improving their professional knowledge and sharpening their skills to have more practical and effective activities for healthy community.”
