Khanh Hoa Provincial Mobilization Board for Voluntary Blood Donation held a ceremony on November 21 to summarize the voluntary blood donation campaign and the tasks of Khanh Hoa Red Cross in 2014. Present at the event was Le Xuan Than, Deputy Chairman of Khanh Hoa Provincial People’s Committee.

In 2014, 85 blood donation drives have been held with the participation of over 16,000 people, donating 12,680 units of blood.
Donated blood use in medical treatment in Khanh Hoa has accounted for 99% and Nha Trang Red Cross has taken the lead in the blood donation movement.
On this occasion, Le Xuan Than appreciated families and individuals’ contribution to blood donation. 5 families and 3 individuals were awarded certificates of merit by the Prime Minister. Khanh Hoa Mobilization Board for Voluntary Blood Donation granted certificates of merit to 215 individuals.
