Khanh Hoa Department of Population & Family Planning has held a conference to implement the National Action Month for Population and mark the Vietnamese Population Day (December 26).
The 2014 national action month themed “Maintaining a reasonable birth rate for the country’s rapid and sustainable development” is scheduled to take place in Khanh Hoa Province on December 1-30.
Many activities will be held on this occasion such as propaganda on population and family planning tasks; Gender Equality Law, population quality improvement project; meetings, workshops, conferences, etc.
The celebrations seek to improve living standards, population quality and raise awareness of national population issues.
