Khanh Hoa Provincial Farmers’ Association has held a conference to summarize its farmers’ fund task 2014.
In 2014, over VND3.5 billion has been raised for the fund, bringing the provincial farmers’ fund to nearly VND20 billion.
Up to the end of November 2014, the total balance reached VND5.3 billion with loans offered to 310 households (VND15-30 million each) for the implementation of 39 projects.
Thanks to VND9.5 billion worth of the entrusted fund from the National Farmers’ Association, Khanh Hoa Provincial Farmers’ Association has given loans, VND20-40 million each, to 314 households for the development of 25 business projects. Besides, 900 training courses on production technique transfer have been held for 52,500 residents and 131 vocational classes for 3,935 people.
On this occasion, Khanh Hoa Provincial Farmers’ Association gave certificates of merit to 6 groups for their achievements in the 2014 farmers’ fund management and development.
