Le Xuan Than, Deputy Chairman of Khanh Hoa Provincial People’s Committee, had a working session on December 15 with Fontana, a Danish not-for-profit organization on the implementation of its project on drug addiction prevention and reduction in Khanh Hoa Province.
The community-based project is expected to be implemented in Khanh Hoa in late December 2014 or early 2015.
Le Xuan Than applauded the initiatives, hoping that the project would be carried out soon and approved the establishment of Fontana office in Nha Trang and its cooperation with Khanh Hoa Psychiatrics Hospital to develop the project.
Founded in 1998, Fontana is committed to promoting the prevention and reduction of harm related to alcohol and drugs dependency (addiction), substance abuse and child abuse and neglect.
