Vietnam plans to join the 43rd WorldSkills Competition scheduled to take place at Anhembi Parque, São Paulo, Brazil on August 11 – 16, 2015.
Vietnamese contestants will compete in 24 skills and they are fully funded by Japanese and Korean companies to compete in 7 skills.
The information was released in a memorandum of understanding on supporting and training Vietnamese contestants signed between General Department of Vocational Training and DENSO Manufacturing Vietnam (DMVN) in Hanoi on December 24.
Nearly 1,300 contestants are expected to participate in the event.
