The information about the voluntary blood donation festival “Red Sunday” was announced at a press conference in Hanoi on January 20.
The blood donation campaign held by Tien Phong Newspaper in association with the National Institute of Hematology & Blood Transfusion, the Ministry of Health is expected to take place in 18 provinces and cities nationwide, including Hanoi, Nam Dinh, Phu Tho, Hai Phong, Nghe An, Da Nang, Can Tho, Dak Lak, Khanh Hoa, Quang Ninh, Ho Chi Minh City, etc.
The event is scheduled to begin on January 25 and 15,000 units of blood are expected to be given.
