People in To Hap Town (Khanh Son District, Khanh Hoa Province) have praised Bo Bo Kha, head of Hap Thinh Street Population Group, for doing business well, actively engaging in social activities and having a happy family, etc. Kha’s family has also been a typical cultural family for many years and been awarded certificates of merit by the Provincial People’s Committee and Department of Culture, Sports and Tourism.
Bo Bo Kha and his wife started business with empty hands. Facing lots of hardship, Kha and his wife always encouraged each other to overcome difficulties. Thanks to hard working and diligent learning how to produce and restructure crops and breeding livestock, he now has owned stable property. His family’s annual income is around VND100 million or VND120 million, earned from raising cows, planting trees such as durian, purple sugar-cane and coffee and other fruit trees. His eldest child is now a student at Khanh Hoa Medical College while the youngest one is studying at the Boarding School for Ethnic Minorities.

Beside doing business well, Kha’s family has also enthusiastically instructed people in the village how to produce and breed effectively. “More and more people know how to do business well, more and more families get better fife,” Kha said. Cao Hong Toan’s family used to be a poor household in Hap Thinh Street Population Group. Thanks to Kha’s help, Toan’s family has gone out of poverty with a stable income of VND50 million per year.
When the home economics has been developed, Kha has engaged in social activities in the locality. He was voted to be the head of Hap Thinh Street Population Group. Besides, Kha has also participated in the activities of To Hap Town Red Cross and the Town People’s Committee, etc. Although Kha is often busy with many works, he has always finished all the jobs well. Therefore, he has been not only loved by many people in the village but also trusted by leaders of the locality.
With the achievements in labor and production as well as building economy and cultural life in the street population group, Bo Bo Kha was honorable to be selected to attend the national conference to honor outstanding cultural families held in Hanoi in September, 2013. Kha was also offered many certificates of merit for his good achievements.
