Over the past years, Ninh Hoa Vocational School has standardized its training programs, done research and applied advanced technology in teaching to improve vocational training linked with job creation, meeting with the actual labor demands.

The school has provided training in such specialties as electricity, electronics, mechanics, industrial sewing, aquaculture and so on. In addition, its curricula have been gradually standardized according to the framework regulated by the Ministry of labor, Invalids & Social Affairs. More facilities have been invested to give learners’ access to advanced manufacturing technology.

To attract student enrolment, the school has cooperated with local authorities and high schools to organize vocational consulting sessions. In addition, preferential policies for vocational learners have been focused. Poor students and ethnic minority people have been exempted from tuitions.

Since 2008, the school has had an enrolment of over 10,000 students, including 1,700 in 2014 alone. Besides, the school has also cooperated with some colleges and universities to provide undergraduate programs and open fostering courses in building, industrial electricity, etc for over 500 staff from 20 businesses in Khanh Hoa Province.

To provide work opportunities, the school has cooperated with some businesses to link training with market labor demand, recommend jobs at some companies inside and outside Khanh Hoa Province. Therefore, every year, 95% of the students find jobs, earning VND2-5 million a month.

Van Dinh Tri, Principal of Ninh Hoa Vocational School, says, “We have just signed a training and labor cooperation agreement with Hyundai VinaShin Shipyard (HVS). Accordingly, students will be given opportunities to serve their apprenticeship at HVS. Especially, excellent students will be employed.”

The school is committed to providing vocational training quality, striving to create job opportunities for students. In the time to come, the school strives to provide a multi-sector training program, focusing on local socio-economic growth and invest in teaching faculties to improve training quality and application in actual production, vocational cooperation, etc.

Ninh Hoa Vocational School has been awarded the 3rd labor Medal for its achievements in vocational training and job creation for its students after graduation.
