Khanh Hoa High Technology Agriculture Center has invested VND26 billion (VND6.4 billion from the central budget and VND16.7 billion from the provincial budget) on the construction of a 2.5ha tropical orchid garden in Cam Lam District. The construction includes a shade house, a spraying system, offices, a pulping station, a lake, walls and fences. VND5.7 billion alone is for tropical orchids.

Nearly 23,000 seedlings of various species, mainly Monkara Sayan bang khuntian and Monkara Fullmoon, are under trial cultivation at the center so far. Others have included M. Banana yellow, M. Thailand sun sport, Aranda. Woleco, Chak Kuan pink, etc.
