Over the past years, VNPT Khanh Hoa in association with Khanh Hoa Department of Education & Training has provided many telecommunications and technology services for education. VNPT Khanh Hoa has launched an electronic school report service on the Vietnam education website vnEdu.
The vnEdu network provided by Vietnam Vietnam Posts & Telecommunications (VNPT) includes products and services for the education operation and management for schools and management units (divisions, departments and the Ministry of Education & Training), connecting students’ families, schools and the community, contributing to increase education management; teaching and study quality.
VNPT Khanh Hoa provides technical and financial assistance and labor support for schools registering for the e-school report service.
According to VNPT Khanh Hoa, the e-school report service has two packages, including HS1 for SMS and HS2 for access to the Internet and MyTV. The HS1 service sends SMS once a week about students' performance at school, their study result, class attendance and other school announcement.
The HS2 allows customers to get access to their children’s study results on solienlac.vnedu.vn or MyTV. The fees regulated by VNPT Khanh Hoa are VND40,000 for its subscribers and 60,000 for others for HS1 and VND30,000 for HS2.
The vnEdu network is believed to benefit the work of administrative reform in education, facilitating the contact between teachers and students’ parents who can receive updated information about their children in a very convenient way, either on websites or mobile devices.
Vietnam Education Network vnEdu is an effective management solution in education. According to the evaluation of education management units and schools which have used the service, vnEdu services have helped reduce manual work, save costs and improve management efficiency.
