Khanh Hoa University ground breaking and foundation stone laying ceremony was held in Van Dang Village, Vinh Luong Commune, Nha Trang City on January 24.

Present at the event were Le Thanh Quang, Central Party Committee Member, Khanh Hoa Provincial Party Committee Secretary, Chairman of the Provincial People’s Council; Nguyen Chien Thang, Deputy Secretary of Khanh Hoa Provincial Party Committee, Chairman of Khanh Hoa People’s Committee and representatives of the ministries of Education & Training, Planning & Investment, Finance, Home Affairs, provincial Party Committee Standing Committee; and leaders of local agencies and departments.
The project was invested by Dewan Corporation. Khanh Hoa University is a public school based on Nha Trang Teacher Training College and Nha Trang Culture, Art & Tourism College under Khanh Hoa Provincial People’s Committee.
Khanh Hoa University is expected to begin its first enrollment in the 2015-2016 with 4-year undergraduate programs in cultural management; traditional musical instrument performance; tourism and travel management; English language and Russian language.
