A canoe carrying 2 foreigners was discovered drifting at sea, 15 nautical miles off the coast of Nha Trang City on February 9.

The men were found lying motionless, likely due to exhaustion and brought ashore on Bai Dai Beach, Cam Hai Dong Commune, Cam Lam District at 13:30, reports Nguyen Tan Nguyen born in 1983, the Captain of KH-97787TS fishing boat, residing in Cam Hai Dong Commune, Cam Lam District, Khanh Hoa Province.
After receiving first aid and food, they gradually regained consciousness. The two Russian men were Klagv Vitor Vaxileta born in 1959 and Bagetxki Denix Alexangrvir born in 1983.
Klagv Vitor Vaxileta says, “On the morning of February 8, after drinking alcohol, we got on a canoe for a stroll. Suddenly, it ran out of petrol and then we could do nothing but let it drifting. Luckily, we were saved.”
