The congress on the foundation of Khanh Hoa Intellectuals’ Association was held in Nha Trang City on March 1. Present at the event was Le Xuan Than, Deputy Chairman of Khanh Hoa Provincial People’s Committee.

Khanh Hoa Intellectuals’ Association has 60 members. Pham Van Chi, former Deputy Secretary of Khanh Hoa Provincial Party Committee, former Chairman of Khanh Hoa Provincial People’s Committee was appointed as Chairman of the association; Associate Professor – PhD Nguyen Tac An, former Director of Institution of Oceanography and PhD Chau Van Luan, former Chief of Khanh Hoa Department of Statistics as Vice Chairmans.
Le Xuan Than applauded the foundation of the association and expressed the hope that the association would continue attracting a big membership to inspire intellectuals’ creativity to be engaged in social criticism activities, contributing to the local socio-economic development.
