Khanh Hoa Mobilization Board for Voluntary Blood Donation held a ceremony on April 7 to launch the 2015 National Blood Donation Day in Khanh Vinh District. Present at the event was Dao Cong Thien, Deputy Chairman of Khanh Hoa Provincial People’s Committee.

After the launching ceremony, nearly 500 people in Khanh Vinh donated 280 units of blood.
12,685 units of blood were donated in Khanh Hoa in 2014. In the first 3 months of 2015, Khanh Hoa Red Cross in association with the Hematology and Blood Transfusion Center held 21 blood donation drives in Khanh Hoa, collecting 3,210 units of blood.
