Khanh Hoa Department of Health held a conference on April 13 to review the first quarter and define direction for the second quarter of 2015.
In the first quarter, nearly 830,000 arrivals were provided medical examination, a 4.1% year-on-year increase. There were over 52,000 inpatients with 4,890 others provided surgeries.
Under the project 1816, hospitals in Khanh Hoa received many advanced technologies in cerebral aneurysm surgery, congenital heart intervention, etc.
In the second quarter, the department continues with its tasks on epidemic prevention and control; private pharmaceutical practice training, and a plan to put Khanh Hoa Tropical Hospital put into operation.
