The event was under the VCF’s program “Survive to thrive” supporting neonatal care in Vietnam. The program is directly funded by the Australian Direct Aid Program (DAP).  Founded in 2006, VinaCapital Foundation (VCF) is dedicated to empowering children’s lives through its medical and educational projects.

Since 2008, 500 children in Khanh Hoa Province have benefited from heart surgery assistance worth over VND10 billion sponsored by VCF. In addition, many local and foreign medical experts have been invited to provide medical equipment instruction and training at the hospital.
