PRP therapy uses the patient’s own blood having a platelet concentration above baseline. |
Platelet activation is believed to play a key role in the process of wound and soft tissue healing. The method uses the patient’s own blood having a platelet concentration above baseline to promote healing of injured tendons, ligaments, muscles, and joints.
In this technical transfer trip, 2 out of screened patients were designated to be treated with the PRP therapy.
