Telecommunications University held a ceremony on April 6 to open an Information Technology Foreign - Language Center. Present at the event were Senior Lieutenant General Nguyen Chi Vinh, Central Party Committee Member, Deputy Minister of National Defense; Sanjeev Ranjan, secretary of Indian National Defense; Shimati Preeti Saran, Indian Ambassador to Vietnam; Nguyen Tan Tuan, Permanent Deputy Secretary of Khanh Hoa Provincial Party Committee, Head of the national assembly delegation of Khanh Hoa Province; and Tran Son Hai, Permanent Deputy Chairman of Khanh Hoa People’s Committee.

The Information Technology - Foreign Language Center has many professional rooms for English tests, meetings, computer network and information safety, etc with a capital of over VND18 billion, VND6 billion of which is from the non-refundable aid of the Indian government and people.
The center is the friendship and cooperation between Vietnam and India and the concretization of the signed memorandum of understanding on bilateral defense cooperation in order to boost the friendship, mutual understanding and trust.
