The Ministry of Science & Technology in association with Khanh Hoa Provincial People’s Committee held a conference on May 8 on science and technology for socio-economic development in the southern central region and the highland.
Present at the event were Tran Quoc Khanh, Minister of Science & Technology and Dao Cong Thien, Deputy Chairman of Khanh Hoa People’s Committee.
The conference focused on suggestions on development strategies, technological solutions and advanced technology to exploit potentials and promote the development of main products; scientific and technological solutions for marine economic growth; technological transfer and application; and the role of science and technology in the promotion of potentials of the southern central region and the highland.
Many speeches were made on scientific and technological contribution to the regional socio-economic growth; research applied in reality, etc.
