Nha Trang Urban Environment Company’s innovative bicycles have just been put into use, contributing to raising public awareness of environmental protection.

These days, tree care staff of Nha Trang Urban Environment Company are seen on innovative bicycles with two dustbins, collecting waste on many main streets, including Tran Phu, 23-10, 2-4, etc in Nha Trang City. The cyclists pick up trash from parterres, median strips, etc.
This environmental initiative has been supported by local residents. Nguyen Huu Tuan Vu, a staff of the Ocean Bank says, this waste collection initiative can be seen as a part of cutting emissions.
Nguyen Huu Nam, a tourist from Ho Chi Minh City says, “This new environmentally friendly model should be expanded.”
Ho Ngoc An, CEO of Nha Trang Urban Environment Company says, the pilot model begins with two bicycles collecting trash from parterres and median strips on main streets. After 1 month of operation, the model has received much supportive feedback from local residents. Many also suggest that the model should be expanded.
The innovative bicycles are among many measures taken by Nha Trang Urban Environment Company to raise public awareness of pollution prevention as well as environmental protection.
More bikes are planned to be added to enhance clean-up efforts. Environmental awareness plays important role towards sustainable development. Therefore, more environmental education and propaganda will be provided by the company in cooperation with local authority.
“A simple thing to protect environment is putting trash into dustbins. We hope our messages about environmental protection will be effectively delivered, promoting everybody to work together for a healthy environment,” Ho Ngoc An confirms.
