Van Ninh District Youth Union in association with the district Women’s Union held a ceremony on May 30 to open Khai Luong Bridge in Khai Luong Island Village in Van Thanh Commune, Van Ninh District.

The construction worth nearly VND70 million began on April 9. The concrete bridge is designed to facilitate travel for local residents, especially in rainy seasons.
On this occasion, Van Ninh District Youth in association with the local Young Doctors’ Club provided free medical examination and medicines for 200 residents on the island. Besides, young people joined clean-up effort and offered gifts to children of Van Thanh 2 Primary School; gave 130 flags and photos of Uncle Ho to fishermen. The activities were worth nearly VND50 million in total.
