On the occasion of 70th anniversary of the victory over Nazism, a thurification ceremony was held at the Vietnamese – Russian Friendship Memorial, Cam Ranh City on May 9 to commemorate Russian and Vietnamese veterans.

Present at the event were Vnukov Konstantin Vasilievich, Russian Ambassador to Vietnam; Tran Son Hai, Member of Khanh Hoa Provincial Standing Committee, Permanent Deputy Chairman of Khanh Hoa People’s Committee; leaders of Cam Ranh City, the Vietnamese Naval Headquarter of Region 4 and some other organizations.

The delegation laid wreaths and burnt incense in commemoration of Russian and Vietnamese heroes who had devoted their life to the regional peace and stability for the sovereignty and territorial integrity of Vietnam.
