Khanh Hoa Department of Labor, Invalids & Social Affairs in association with Khanh Hoa Labor Confederation held a conference on June 24 to make a preliminary summing-up of 3 years’ development of the Children’s Fund, period 2012 - 2015.

Present at the event was Le Duc Vinh, Khanh Hoa Provincial Standing Committee member, Provincial People’s Committee Deputy Chairman.
Over the past 3 years, laborers, organizations and individuals have donated over VND3 billion to the Children’s Fund.
Besides, over VND6 billion has been raised from many projects and programs for children. The fund has benefited over 6,000 children through such charity activities as financial aid for heart surgery; cleft lip and cleft palate repair; scholarships, bicycles and gifts offered to the needy, etc.
On this occasion, Khanh Hoa Provincial People’s Committee has granted certificates of merit to 5 groups and 4 individuals for their contribution to the Children’s Fund. 55 scholarships worth VND1 million each were awarded to good students.
