Khanh Hoa Province has made all health service preparation to deal with medical treatment, emergency; epidemic prevention and control; and food safety to assure the smooth running of the 2015 National High School Graduation Exam.

Food safety and hygiene inspection has focused on food businesses, stores and canteens near exam locations.

 

Since mid May 2015, Khanh Hoa Department of Health has given guidance on health-related issues for the national exam. In June 2015, the department directed its subsidiaries of districts, towns and cities to cooperate with relevant agencies to implement medical tasks, says Bui Xuan Minh, Director of Khanh Hoa Department of Health.

Specifically, Nha Trang City Medical Center and medical centers of districts, towns and cities has prepared medical staff, medical equipment and medications at exam locations to assure health care for candidates and Exam Council members.

Khanh Hoa General Hospital, Hospital of Traditional Medicine & Rehabilitation Care and 115 Emergency Center has provided medical assistance services with ambulances available to ferry patients and deal with emergency situations. The medical teams are prepared for any health care assistance.

Besides, Khanh Hoa Preventive Medicine Center has supervised the healthcare tasks to ensure the prevention and control of epidemics in these locations.

60 medical staff deployed at exam locations are ready to provide health care services, treat patients and react in the event of emergencies when required.

Vo Hong Van, Deputy Chief of Khanh Hoa Branch of Food Safety & Hygiene says, an inspection mission was founded on June 24 to ensure food safety, give direct inspection on some food businesses and stores, etc.

Inspection has focused on food stores and canteens near exam locations to ensure their compliance with food safety standards.
