The 2015 national high school graduation exam is scheduled to take place in some days. Khanh Hoa Province has completed preparations for the important event. The support program for candidates is also underway to ensure the mooth running of the exam.

The exam clusters chaired by Khanh Hoa Department of Education & Training have 7 venues with 3, 245 candidates. The national examination chaired by Nha Trang University has 30 venues in Nha Trang City with 21,162 candidates, including 11,173 from Khanh Hoa and the others from Phu Yen Province.
According to Tran Doan Hung, Chief of the Training Department of Nha Trang University, thorough preparations for the national high school graduation exam have been made. Invigilators will be from universities, colleges and high schools in Nha Trang City and examiners are from the two provinces of Khanh Hoa and Phu Yen.
The university has also worked with Khanh Hoa Public Security PA83 to ensure order and security; and Khanh Hoa Department of Transportation to facilitate travel during the exam days.
This year, the number of candidates has increased thrice compared with the last university entrance exam. Therefore, the demand for accommodations for candidates and their families is expected to rise significantly to some 20,000.
Moreover, to create favorable conditions for candidates and their families, Nha Trang University Students’ Association has run the 2014 entrance exam support program to help candidates and their relatives to travel, find free or cheap lodging, etc. 6,500 accommodations at a reduced price (VND10,000-35,000/ day) or free of charge are available at the dormitories of universities, colleges, local residents’ houses and Long Son Pagoda.
Nguyen Huu Manh, Chairman of Nha Trang University Students’ Association, Deputy Secretary of the Youth Union says, the national high school graduation exam takes place during the time of Sea Festival Nha Trang; therefore, it will be difficult for candidates to find rooms at hotel and guest houses.
The Students’ Association and the youth Union has launched a support program calling upon volunteers to share their accommodations as well as mobilize businesses, organizations and individuals to give lodging support for candidates. Besides a digital map of exam venues which is going to be completed for use, direction handouts with hotlines and telephone numbers of those in charge have given to candidates.
Every preparation has gone smoothly for a safe exam season in 2015.
