Khanh Hoa Branch for Population & Family Planning has just held an advisory session on healthcare for 62 families with children suffering from Glucose-6-phosphate dehydrogenase (G6PD) deficiency. Earlier, the branch had provided propaganda training on prenatal screening for 80 population officials.
The two events are in the framework of the prenatal and newborn screening model implemented in Khanh Hoa Province since 2011.
