Since the beginning of the year, USD61,610 has been raised from non-governmental organizations to support health care in Khanh Hoa Province.
The funding has been poured into scientific research; epidemic prevention and control; medical equipment and infrastructures.
Besides, under the international cooperation, Khanh Hoa General Hospital has received technical transfer from a physicians’ delegation led by Farouk Sleiman (France) on gastroenterological diseases in adults; and Joji Hosokawa (Japan) on intervention techniques for coronary artery diseases. Sante Sans Frontiere – Le MI-DIT Association and the Center of Edouard Toulouse Hospital, Marseille (France) have transferred some mental illness treatment techniques to Khanh Hoa Psychiatrics Hospital.
