Nguyen Duy Bac, Deputy Chairman of Khanh Hoa Provincial People’s Committee has just presided over a meeting with Khanh Hoa Department of Information & Communications and relevant agencies on the passive telecommunications technical infrastructure planning in Khanh Hoa till 2020.
Accordingly, the province is expected to fulfill such norms as 25-30% sharing of antenna masts, 30-35% of existing telecommunications and television cable network put underground in new projects; 60-65% of telecommunications and television cable network put underground in urban areas; and 100% of mobile communication coverage in residential areas in Khanh Hoa. Besides, antenna pillars renovation will be completed in 25 regions in Nha Trang City, Cam Ranh City, Ninh Hoa Town, etc.
The planning draft basically meets the criteria and purposes required by Khanh Hoa People’s Committee, says Nguyen Duy Bac, adding that the Department of and Communications and Consulting units are requested to take the ideas and suggestions made by the Assessment Council into consideration for the completion of the draft.
