Adequate infrastructures and human force in education and training have been assured in Cam Ranh City for the new school year 2015-2016.

According to leaders of Cam Ranh City Division of Education & Training, the City People’s Committee has allocated over VND32.6 billion to the repair of 7 classrooms and the construction of 2 school restrooms, 1 security guard room, 4 administrative buildings, 5 kitchens, 6 gates, etc. 80% of the constructions have been completed and the progress has been sped up to be timely put into operation in the new school year.
“With the newly-built gate and a standard kitchen worth over VND1.1 billion, the school is qualified for providing day-boarding service this school year,” says Phan Thi Huong, Vice Principal of Cam Loc Primary School.
Many other schools benefiting from further investment this year include Cam Thinh Dong Nursery School with 4 new classrooms worth over VND4.2 billion; Cam Thinh Tay Nursery School with a security guard room and standard kitchen at a cost of over VND1 billion and so on.
Le Tan Thanh, Principal of Cam Loi Primary School, Cam Loi Ward, says, “This 2015-2016 school year opening ceremony will be organized in a new school. All teachers, students and their parents are so happy.” The newly-built VND17 billion Cam Loi Primary School has 17 classrooms with about 400 students. The preparation for the new school year has been completed.
Cam Ranh City People’s Committee has provided the most favorable conditions for the upgrading of schools, says Nguyen Binh Viet, Deputy Chief of Cam Ranh City Division of Education & Training. In the 2015-2016 school year, Cam Ranh City has about 4,560 nursery age children, 10,706 primary age students and 8,311 junior high school ones.
This summer, the Division of Education & Training opened 10 Vietnamese language speaking classes for 206 ethnic minority children before their entering the 1st grade classes. Besides, 8 illiteracy elimination and educational universalization classes were held for 91 people. The first-grader and sixth-grader enrolment processes have gone smoothly in accordance with the guidance by the Department of Education & Training.
According to Nguyen Van Du, Chief of cam Ranh City Division of Education & Training, 1,760 teachers of nursery, primary and junior high schools completed the 2015 professional development courses on August 22.
“Teachers have joined effort to tidy and decorate classes; and make more toys for the new school year. The opening ceremony is scheduled to be held on September 5,” says Teacher Phan Thi Huong.
