Dao Cong Thien, Deputy Chairman of Khanh Hoa Provincial People’s Committee had a working session on September 15 with VIT Corporation and Qrion Health (New Zealand) on the application of a hospital information system (HIS) in Khanh Hoa Province.
At the meeting, leaders of the VIT Corporation proposed the cooperation of Khanh Hoa Provincial People’s Committee in the software system application in the management of health institutions under a BOT contract worth over VND25 billion.
Dao Cong Thien approved the HIS implementation in principle with priority initially given to Khanh Hoa General Hospital. He also directed hospitals in Khanh Hoa to boost their skilled human resources in information technology to facilitate the project.
