Ninh Hoa Scholarship Fund held a ceremony on August 30 to grant scholarships to students in need in Ninh Hoa Town. Present at the event were Nguyen Tan Tuan, Permanent Deputy Secretary of Khanh Hoa Provincial Party Committee, Head of the National Assembly Delegation of Khanh Hoa Province and Le Xuan Than, Vice-Chairman of the Provincial People’s Council.

200 scholarships worth nearly VND30 million in total included 1 scholarship, VND4 million, awarded to the highest grade achiever in the 2015 National High School Graduation Exam; 11 scholarships worth VND3 million each to freshmen; 27 scholarships, VND3 million each, to college and university students; and 161 scholarships, VND1 million each, to high school students. 3 severely disadvantaged students received support from many individuals and organizations.
Ninh Hoa Scholarship Fund, formerly known as Ninh Hoa Study Encouragement Fund, was founded in 2004. Thanks to donation from many benefactors, Ninh Hoa Scholarship Fund has offered nearly 1,200 scholarships worth over VND1.5 billion in total to disadvantaged students so far.
