The Thoracic Surgery Department of Khanh Hoa General Hospital is going to give free heart screening examination to children and adults with heart diseases in Ninh Hoa Town and Van Ninh District, says Cao Viet Dung, Deputy Director of Khanh Hoa General Hospital.
The heart screening examination is scheduled to take place on October 31 at the Outpatient Department of Ninh Hoa General Hospital. There will be direct medical consultation regarding diagnosis and treatment plans with patients determined for surgery.
Reportedly, in the recent 2 years, thanks to the professional support and technical transfer from Cho Ray Hospital, open-heart surgeons of the Thoracic Surgery Department of Khanh Hoa General Hospital have jointly performed open-heart surgery on 50 patients successfully.
