Phan Boi Chau High School, Cam Ranh City, celebrated the 40th anniversary of its foundation (1975 - 2015) on October 19. Present at the event was Dao Cong Thien, Deputy Chairman of Khanh Hoa Provincial People’s Committee.
This academic year, the school has nearly 44 classes with 1,700 students. 100% teachers have meet standard; 30% have received provincial awards for excellence in teaching and 2 have won the title “Distinguished teacher”.
The school has had 1 winner of the international award in physics, 10 excellent students at national level and 221 excellent students at provincial level. The school was awarded the labor medal in 2005.
In recent years, students graded “good” have accounted for over 60% with the graduation pass rate of 98.5%- 100%.
On this occasion, Phan Boi Chau High School received certificates of merit by the Ministry of Education & Training and Khanh Hoa Provincial People’s Committee. Former students granted 29 scholarships worth VND1 million each to needy students and donated VND100 million to the school’s scholarship fund.
