In Nha Trang City, Tuoi Tre Newspaper in association with Khanh Hoa Study & Talent Encouragement Fund, Khanh Hoa Youth Union and the Departments of Education & Training of Khanh Hoa and Ninh Thuan Provinces granted scholarships to 73 freshers in the two provinces on October 4.
Present at the event were Nguyen Tan Tuan, Permanent Deputy Secretary of Khanh Hoa Provincial Party Committee, Head of the National Assembly Delegation of Khanh Hoa Province; and Le Duc Vinh, Deputy Secretary of Khanh Hoa Provincial Party Committee, Provincial People’s Committee Deputy Chairman.

The scholarships were under the “For the future development” program held by Tuoi Tre Newspaper. Scholarships worth over VND50 billion have been awarded to 13,000 freshers in need nationwide for 13 years. 1,500 scholarships were granted in 2015 alone.
Reportedly, the “For the future development” program has awarded 43,000 scholarships to students nationwide after 26 years of operation.
