Cam Ranh City Division of Education & Training has celebrated the Vietnamese Teachers’ Day (November 20). At the ceremony, representatives recalled the national tradition of respecting teachers and appreciating morality; as well as the education in the city.
At present, 1,178/ 1,760 teaching staff obtain qualifications above required and 37/ 52 schools meet the national standard.
In the 2014-2015, satisfactory results in education were achieved with primary school completion rate of 100%, junior high school graduation rate of 99.85% and high school graduation rate of 97%.
On this occasion, 85 individuals were awarded commemorative medals “For the cause of education” by the Ministry of Education & Training. 7 winners of National Excellent Student Contest were commended and awarded by Cam Ranh City People’s Committee.
