On November 24, the Central Vietnam Division for Water Resources Planning & Investigation held a ceremony to mark its 40th foundation anniversary (November 22, 1975-2015) and receive the 2nd-class Medal of Independence. Among the representatives attending the event were Nguyen Thai Lai, Deputy Minister of Natural Resources & Environment and Dao Cong Thien, Deputy Chairman of Khanh Hoa Provincial People’s Committee.

Over the past years, the Central Division for Water Resources Planning & Investigation has completed 134 scientific and technological studies and projects assigned by the State and dozens of scientific and technological studies and projects at province-level; completed the 1/50,000 hydro-geological map in major socio-economic zones, etc.
265 natural resource monitoring stations have been operating on the Highlands and South Central region, effectively supporting groundwater potential forecasting and warning in regional provinces and cities.
