Khanh Hoa Provincial Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee held a launching ceremony on November 10 for the donation to the 2015 Fund for the Poor. At the event, staff of the provincial Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee and its member organizations donated over VND50 million to the fund.

On this occasion, more than VND3 million was extracted from the fund to support the construction of 76 houses for the needy in the two districts of Khanh Vinh and Dien Khanh.

Since 2000, the provincial Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee at all levels has provided VND95 billion support for the construction of 6,180 houses; production, health care and schooling, etc for the poor. However, over 9,000 poor and 24,000 marginally poor households are still in housing need.
