On November 6, Khanh Hoa Hospital of Tropical Diseases opened its charity kitchen managed by Khanh Hoa Provincial Hospital of Tropical Diseases and Khanh Hoa Sponsoring Association for the Poor Patients.

Funding for the kitchen comes from benefactors, agencies, individuals and organizations at home and abroad. Reportedly, since January 2015, the kitchen has received over VND216 million, including VND46.9 million alone on its opening day.
At present, the charity kitchen can serve 30 portions worth VND15,000 each for 15 patients. Since October 2015, 197 portions have been provided for poor patients and ethnic minority people.
