Khanh Hoa Department of Education & Training held a ceremony on October 29 to make a preliminary summing-up of 8 years’ implementation of the Instruction No. 12 by the Ministry of Politics on enhancement of the Communist Party’s leadership over national defense and security education in the new situation.
Over the past 8 years, Khanh Hoa Department of Education & Training has effectively implemented national defense and security tasks for its officials and students. In the 2014-2015 school year, the number of students graded good and above accounted for 90%, up 5% compared with last school year. Many extracurricular activities included exchange programs and knowledge contests about Vietnam's sea and islands, etc.
Khanh Hoa Department of Education & Training was awarded certificates of merit by the Provincial Defense and Security Education Council and by the Ministry of Education & Training for national defense and security education excellence in the school year 2014-2015. On this occasion, Khanh Hoa Department of Education & Training granted certificates of merit to 9 groups and 7 individuals for their achievements in national defense and security education.
