Since 2007, Khanh Hoa Trade Union’s Housing Fund has mobilized businesses, organizations, individuals and agencies to donate over VND7.7 billion to charity. The sum has been used to construct 235 houses and repair 33 others at a cost of more than VND5.5 billion for workers in financial problems.
Besides, Khanh Hoa Trade Union at all levels in association with Lao Dong Newspaper's Golden Heart Fund donated over VND900 million to disadvantaged fishermen, soldiers and coast guards working on the Spratly Island.
