Prudential Vietnam has just provided a housing grant to Cao Thi Minh’s family, Khanh Thuong Commune, Khanh Vinh District. “My husband died a long time ago. All my family used to live in a dilapidated house. My income is just enough to cover my two children’s tuition. The a new house is beyond my expectation. I am so grateful to Prudential Vietnam Corporation,” she says.


Besides, another new house has just been handed over to a poor resident named Nguyen Thi Thuan in Van Binh Commune, Van Ninh District. The two houses are worth VND40 million each.
 

Pham Ngoc Hoa, Director of Prudential Vietnam Office in the central region says besides business, Prudential Vietnam has founded the fund for social activities in 5 sectors, including education, health care; orphanage and community assistance; and natural disaster relief in Khanh Hoa Province and the other neighboring provinces of Phu Yen, Ninh Thuan and so on.
 

In 2015 alone, Prudential Vietnam has offered 40 scholarships worth VND40 million to needy students in Khanh Hoa; in association with the provincial Study Encouragement Association donated over 320 school bags to children; in association with Khanh Hoa Youth Union donated 100 bikes worth VND220 million to needy students in Nha Trang City, Cam Lam District, Dien Khanh District and Ninh Hoa Town, etc.
 

The most outstanding charity programs joined by Prudential Vietnam leaders and staff have included visits, care and gifts offered to needy families and children; disabled and old people on the occasion of holiday and New Year Festival; care for orphans, wounded soldiers and lonely old people at social service centers.
 

In 2015, Prudential Vietnam has held medical trips to provide check-ups for over 200 arrivals on Binh Ba Island, Cam Binh Commune, Cam Ranh City; and eye examination and medications for 400  students of Nguyen Cong Tru Junior High School, Vinh Phuong Commune, Nha Trang City. Apart from financial support for blood donation drives, Prudential Vietnam staff themselves have also donated blood. Moreover, 100 families of traffic accident victims have been covered by life insurance free of charge.


“We have fulfilled our business strategies with commitment to charity activities. In the time to come, Prudential Vietnam plans to boost social activities in an effort to help the disadvantaged have better life prospects.
