On December 23, Le Duc Vinh, Deputy Secretary of Khanh Hoa Provincial Party Committee, Provincial People’s Committee Chairman had talks with Maxim Golikov, Director of Russian Trade Representative Agency in Vietnam.

Vietnam in general and Khanh Hoa in particular are highly appreciated for investment by Russian investors, according to Maxim Golikov. He also expressed the hope that Khanh Hoa People’s Committee would continue providing support and favorable conditions for Russian investors.
There are presently 5 projects developed by Russians investors in Khanh Hoa. Khanh Hoa always welcomes Russian investors to exploit potentials of the province. Tourism is the mainstay of the economy in Khanh Hoa with a revenue up by 15 % per year and tourist numbers up by 11 %. There are many flights from Russia to Cam Ranh Airport on 2 big tour operators namely Pegas Russia and Anex. Research institutes based in the province also have a good relationship with Russian organizations, says Le Duc Vinh.
Therefore, the provincial leader hoped the relationship between the two partners would flourish with more chances for Russian businesses to invest in Nha Trang.
