In the first organization, the contest on learning about social insurance, medical insurance and unemployment insurance, jointly held by Khanh Hoa Provincial Labor Federation and provincial Social Insurance, was evaluated as a useful and highly effective propaganda playground.
Taking part in the contest were 30 people of ten teams from the units and enterprises in Khanh Hoa. The teams competed in three sections: introduction, theory and multiple-choice.

In the introduction section, the teams performed interesting skits, making many dry law policies of social insurance, medical insurance and unemployment insurance to become lively and attractive to the audience. The performance of the teams of Khanh Hoa Salanganes Nest Company and Nha Trang Textile and Garment Joint Stock Company were quite unique and creative, according to the jury. The teams incorporated in their items some stories about the enterprises’ responsibility for the interest of the labor, through which the teams encouraged and motivated the labor to produce high quality products and enhance the enterprises’ position. Besides, the teams also reflected the roles, function and responsibility of the labor union, helping the viewers to know more about the union.
The performances of the teams at the sections of theory and multiple-choice showed that the participations had a good knowledge of and were updated on the policies of social insurance, medical insurance and unemployment insurance. “Through the contest, we learn more about the policies as well as our interests, especially the insurance policies for female labor. We will disseminate information to our colleagues in order to raise the labor’s awareness as well as require the enterprises to implement the policies properly,” said Pham Thi Khanh Van, worker of Rapexco Dai Nam Co., Ltd., Nha Trang.
According to the jury, there were many good scripts at the contest. Some scripts clearly reflected the role and responsibility of the labor union as well as the importance of the policies of social insurance, medical insurance and unemployment insurance in the economic development and social security.
Nguyen Hoa, Chairman of Khanh Hoa Provincial Labor Federation, said that the contest was a useful playground which helped the labor to know more about the law and policies. It was also an opportunity to improve the legal knowledge, skills and sense of responsibility of the labor union’s officers.
“We will continue to associate with other units to organize the contest,” said Duong Van Hao, Deputy Director of the Khanh Hoa Social Insurance.
