Vietcombank Khanh Hoa Branch held a ceremony on December 17 to hand 3 classrooms over to 2 nursery schools in Khanh Vinh District. The construction cost was funded by Vietcombank Khanh Hoa Branch. Present at the handover event was Nguyen Tan Tuan, Permanent Deputy Secretary of Khanh Hoa Provincial Party Committee, Head of the National Assembly Delegation of Khanh Hoa Province.

The new A Xay Nursery School, Khanh Nam Commune, was built on an area of 1,162 m2, including a construction area of 272 m2 with 2 self-contained classrooms, a ware house and water-closets. The construction cost was over VND1.57 billion, including VND1.5 billion funded by Vietcombank Khanh Hoa Branch.
Le Thi Hien, Principal of A Xay Nursery School says, “All the teachers and children are eager to have new standard classrooms and a spacious playground. The 2 classrooms are for 48 children aged 3 and 5. Most of them are Raglai children.” All teachers and locals are so delighted as from now on they no longer have to travel a long way to take the children to and from school. The nursery classrooms used to be located in Ba Dui, 6km from the current location, happily says Bui Thi Huong, Principal of Tram Huong Nursery School, Khanh Binh Commune.
The new classroom in Cao Mo Xe was built on an area of 1,213 with one 136m2 self-contained classroom, a ware house and a water-closet. The construction cost was over VND889.4 million, including VND500 million funded by Vietcombank Khanh Hoa Branch. The new classroom meets the learning needs of 20 children.
Besides business, Vietcombank Khanh Hoa Branch has focused on social security, especially in education and health care. Therefore, 150 staff have donated VND2 billion to the construction of 3 new classrooms in Khanh Vinh Mountainous District with the hope to provide children with better learning conditions, thus helping their parents feel more secure, according to Luong Phan Sang, Director of Vietcombank Khanh Hoa Branch.
At the handover ceremony, Nguyen Tan Tuan highly appreciated the staff of Vietcombank Khanh Hoa Branch for their good deeds to join effort with the local authority to improve education conditions for the ethnic minority community in Khanh Vinh. The 3 classrooms were worth over VND2.46 billion, including VND2 billion from Vietcombank Khanh Hoa Branch and VND462 million from the local reciprocal budget.
In 2015, Vietcombank Khanh Hoa Branch has donated over VND3.6 billion to charity and social security activities. Apart from the 3 classrooms, Vietcombank Khanh Hoa Branch has offered 100 breeding cows worth VND1.5 billion to ethnic minority people in Khanh Son and held several other charity activities.
