The Joint Stock Commercial Bank for Investment & Development of Vietnam (BIDV) plans to finance VND2 billion of flower street decoration on Tran Phu and Le Thanh Ton in Nha Trang City.

BIDV has received approval from Khanh Hoa Provincial Party Committee and People's Committee to fund the Lunar New Year decoration on Le Thanh Ton and Tran Phu, Nha Trang City’s most beautiful street. The decoration is to satisfy harmonious aesthetics requirement.
 
Tran Bac Ha, CEO of BIDV suggested  BIDV’s funding the decoration of flower streets in Nha Trang City for Tet Holiday in 2016 on his working trip to Khanh Hoa in early December 2015. After receiving the approval from the province, BIDV leaders have directed its branch in Khanh Hoa to implement the work. Under the instruction of the Chairman of the Board of Directors, the leader of the branch has reported the suggestion to Khanh Hoa People’s Committee. 
 
Specifically, the decoration will be at one part of Tran Phu Street; and 2 welcome gates and hanging lights on Le Thanh Ton street, according to Lam Thi Nguyet Oanh, Deputy Director of BIDV Khanh Hoa Branch. Besides, Nha Trang City People’s Committee will use partly the budget expected for decoration of Le Thanh Ton Street to illuminate Pasteur Street to create an eye-catching path leading to the 2016 Spring Flower Festival. 
 
Nha Trang Urban Management Division, relevant departments and agencies together with representatives of the bank will discuss the decoration design and the sponsor logo under the guidance of Nha Trang City People’s Committee, according to a representative of Nha Trang Urban Management Division. BIDV will focus on lighting decoration on median strips and above streets.
 
The bank has recommended design consultants to choose durable materials that can serve until the national holidays April 30-4 and May 1. The decoration design has been made and is awaiting approval from the local authority. The work will be urgently implemented right after the approval is given.
 
BIDV joins the public participation in the Lunar New Year decoration to make Nha Trang more elegant and splendid with colorfully illuminated streets. The funding has been developed by BIDV in Hanoi, Ho Chi Minh City and some other cities and provinces. The good deed has been highly appreciated by local authorities.
