Huynh Thanh Than, an 11th grader at Tran Binh Trong High school has won the first prize in “Proud of Vietnam” with 290.5 scores. He was awarded by the Ministry of Education and Training and got a VND15 million reward.

The contest was designed to encourage high school students nationwide to learn about the country’s historic events, revolutionary milestones, cultural and national heroes, cultural celebrities, heroic martyrs, achievements, etc. The event was jointly held for the first time by the Ho Chi Minh Communist Youth Union Central Committee and the Ministry of Education & Training.
