Nha Trang City People’s Committee has appealed to many organizations to fund the flower street decoration combined with trademark promotion on the occasion of the coming Lunar New Year Festival.

Nha Trang City People’ Committee has organized many activities to celebrate the spring season, according to Le Van Vinh, Chief of Nha Trang Urban Management Office. Specifically, Nha Trang has become splendid in the run-up to the Lunar New Year Festival with colorfully illuminated streets namely Tran Phu, Le Thanh Ton, Nguyen Thi Minh Khai, Yersin, Thai Nguyen and Pasteur; small landscape on Tran Phu Street and along the beach park; plants on traffic islands in front of Nha Trang Lodge Hotel, roundabouts, Le Hong Phong Streets; pots of flowers along main streets, flower towers on Le Thanh Ton Street, etc.
Apart from street decoration and contests for craftsmen, the 2016 Spring Flower Festival is scheduled to take place on February 1-12 featuring a diverse mixture of art and culture. The total cost of the decoration and activities to celebrate the Lunar New Year in Nha Trang City is estimated at over VND10 billion, including VND8.2 billion from the State budget and nearly VND2 billion funded by some organizations.
Nha Trang City People’s Committee has succeeded in calling for public participation in the city decoration. Lighting decoration worth VND835 million on Le Thanh Ton Street is funded by The Joint Stock Commercial Bank for Investment & Development of Vietnam (BIDV); 2 welcome gates worth VND750 million on Tran Phu Street funded by Toan Dung Advertising Company; 40 Hiflex lighting poles on Pasteur Street, 20 Hiflex lighting poles on other streets, water and other items worth VND390 million financed by Khanh Hoa Salanganes Nest Company finances, etc.
“Besides production and business boost, we are willing to join community activities every year. We have funded lighting decoration and bottles of water for New Year events with the hope to join effort to serve local residents’ celebration for the spring season,” says Le Huu Hoang, CEO of Khanh Hoa Salanganes Nest Company.
Huynh Ngoc Dung, Director of Toan Dung Advertising Company says, “This year, we continue to donate part of our profit as well as call other organizations to join us in the new year decoration in Nha Trang City. The work not only makes Nha Trang beautiful but also helps businesses to boost their trade marks. Therefore, we hope more and more businesses will join such public participation.”
The policy on public participation in the Lunar New Year decoration has made Nha Trang more elegant and splendid during the year-end festival. Nha Trang City People’s Committee has created opportunities for businesses to join in local organization of events. We hope to receive funding from other businesses on decoration and celebrations in Nha Trang City, confirms Le Van Vinh.
